When you open a page, your browser sends technical data to the server that hosts this website, such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser and operating system. We use it only to deliver the pages and to keep the website secure, which is our legitimate interest, and it is deleted automatically within 30 days.

To understand how the website is used, we count visits and see which pages and parts of the page are viewed, such as videos played or links clicked, which is our legitimate interest. The statistics service stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you or follow you across other websites. This website does not use cookies.

If you write to us or send the access request form, we use your name, work email and organisation to answer you and to consider your request for access to AEGIS, which is our legitimate interest. We need them to reply; saying how you would use AEGIS is optional. The form sends your details to us by email; the website does not store them. We keep these messages as long as your request needs, and no longer than two years after our last contact.

Your data is handled on our instructions by the service providers that host this website, provide its statistics and run our email. Some of them may process it outside the European Union, under the safeguards that EU law requires. We share it with authorities only when the law requires it.

You can object at any time to any use of your data that relies on our legitimate interest, by writing to us. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use, or to receive it in a portable format. You can complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt).
